Spin Wheels
Spin Wheels is an INCREDIBLE VALUE pattern with two sizes and two design options. Spin Wheels is a kaleidoscope type design. You just turn the four center squares to change the design. You will use freezer paper templates to piece 12 triangles (6 regular and 6 mirror image) and then strip piece borders and small corners. Very accurate cutting and sewing are required. Master templates are included in the pattern for the 50" X 50" version so you can copy your own templates on freezer paper on an inkjet printer. The templates can be enlarged for the 66" X 66" version and use a wide format inkjet printer that can accommodate 12" wide freezer paper. Preprinted templates are also available for both versions (Item #5555 for the 50" quilt and Item #5556 for the 66" quilt).

Pattern includes all information to make any of the three options pictured. This is a very easy quilt pattern using
simple strip piecing and ombre fabric to create the shading. The different options are created by changing
the width of some of the background strips.
Great depth and 3D optical illusions are created using shapes and
shading. You could also use your own
14¼” – 15¼” design for the center to customize these designs. There is also plenty of open area in the
corners for spectacular quilting or other techniques you many want to use to
further customize this design. This
pattern is for the confident beginner.
